Theres a shift, Towards the Red

Mon Jul 20, 2009, 1:11 AM
oh no oh no I've discovered theres a slight pinkish tint to photos I've scanned from one of my scanners which I've discoved by having a file printed out from one of those printing services. it was accentuated on the colour paper. I'm going to have to reupload some of my images here, that is what I must do. Oh no I'll never make THIS mistake again. Oh no what will go wrong next.

Theres a ring around the sun and it looks like we're going back to where it all begun. No more no more, No more no more.

See how the photography I do is the dull old B&W silver/gelatin prints I take with old cameras and cook up in my darkroom of architecture, landscapes and random people I catch unawares in them. While my collection of favourites on the other hand are bright, colourful and beautiful photographs of fantastic subjects that I only wish I could be taking.

This is the dichotomy of Doctor Rock. The world I'm forced to live in, because I'm a complete dorkus of the first magnitude from a backwater of the universe who's never traveled further than 30km down the highway to East Maitland, and the world I can only imagine being a part of.

This is my dream, this is my nightmare. The Horror.

But it's great that Deviant Art at least gives me the mechanism to have these wonderful images and gorgeous models in my collection here even though I've never seen such things before, filling my mind with images of unattainable beauty, for I am not strange. No definitely not strange no. Oh yes, AND it seems at least also there are some people out there who do seem to want look at my own wretched photographs, for which Doctor Rock is extremely grateful. I shall upload more.

Fine Gallery, Doc. I really like the contrast in the B&W photos.

Thank you very much I am very fond of the B&W though I have resolved to do far more colour in the future.

I'd rather die than become anything like everybody. I hope I die before I ever start to feel, start to feel ordinary.
